The Port of Goolwa is the last major stop of the mighty Murray-Darling River basin, and Australia’s unique geography presented many challenges to early colonisation. And it was this location which meant Goolwa played a major role in Australia’s early expansion, using the waters for transport, business and pleasure.
Our modern business is based on exactly the same 150 year old criteria.
